Oregon House is located at 94288 Highway 101, 8 miles south of Yachats and 18 miles north of Florence on the west side of Highway 101 between milepost 173 and 174.
Communication and Entertainment
There are no phones or TVs in the rooms, and your cell phone is out of range on the property. We do have a payphone, wireless DSL Internet access throughout the property, and a computer in the Library during office hours for your convenience. Our library has a selection of books and games you may borrow during your stay.
Cooking and Dining
Our rooms have kitchen facilities so you may prepare your own meals. Please be considerate of future guests by refraining from cooking foods with strong odors (such as seafood) that may linger in the room. We have charcoal barbecue grills available for your use - please bring your own charcoal and matches. Yachats (8 miles north) and Florence (18 miles south) have restaurants and markets you may enjoy.
Environmentally sensitive
We use only natural non-toxic and environmentally safe cleaners, personal care products, etc. Let us know in advance, and we can replace laundry service linens with our own washed in harmless products if you need.
All rooms are non-smoking and pet free. Please be mindful of fragrances, scented body products, candles and incense. Many of our guests are sensitive to lingering scents.
Recycling
You'll find a recycling bag in each of our rooms. Please rinse and place recyclable items in the bag. If you need a new bag, please let us know.
Shoes Off
We respectfully request that you remove your outdoor shoes at the entrance to all rooms.
Massage and Healing Treatments
With enough advance notice we may be able to schedule massages with one of our local massage therapists. We recommend The Gentle Dragon in Yachats.
Our crystal chromotherapy healing treatments may be scheduled with the office on your arrival. Learn more.
Visitors
Out of respect to our guests who come here because our facility is small, quiet and uncrowded, we ask that you notify the office if you are anticipating visitors. There is a $15 per day charge per person for visitors and numbers will be limited.
Children at Oregon House
A gentle reminder to guests who bring children to Oregon House. We welcome you and enjoy having the wondrous energy of children here. We ask you to supervise your children at all times to keep them safe from the potential hazards of the cliffs and ocean and also to preserve the peacefulness of our retreat for all our guests.
Pets at Oregon House
We ask you please to leave your pets at home. We do not allow pets in rooms or in cars on the property.
What to Bring
You may want to bring a flashlight, binoculars, rain gear, a jacket or sweater, and comfortable walking shoes to make the most of your experience here. Only non-scented candles fully enclosed in glass containers should be used in rooms and must never be left unattended.
